Ripley High School’s Adena Barnette-Miller Earns National Board Certification
Ripley, WV – March 12, 2025 – Jackson County Schools proudly announces that Social Studies teacher Adena Barnette-Miller has achieved National Board Certification, a prestigious recognition awarded by the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards (NBPTS). This certification is one of the highest honors in the teaching profession, reflecting a rigorous assessment process that evaluates educators on their teaching practices, content knowledge, and commitment to student success.
Barnette-Miller, a dedicated educator at Ripley High School, has been an influential figure in the classroom, inspiring students through her passion for history, government, and civic engagement.
